Description
Michael Middleton is a local artist who has mastered the firing of local Currituck County clay and makes incredibly stunning pieces with it. Each horse hair pot contains a carbon impression of Corolla wild horse hair. Each pot is unique and one of a kind. On the bottom of each pot, you will find the name of the horse inscribed in the clay.
This beautiful vase is 8 1/4″ high and 6 3/4″ wide (all dimensions are approximate) and is highlighted by its pale coloring with pink creamy undertones. Hair from Ellie Mae, a mare we lost last year in the wild, was used as a tribute.
Michael Middleton works closely with the Corolla Wild Horse Fund. A portion of the proceeds of each Horse Hair Pot sold is donated to the Corolla Wild Horse Fund.
