Description
Michael Middleton is a local artist who has mastered the firing of local Currituck County clay and makes incredibly stunning pieces with it. Each horse hair pot contains a carbon impression of Corolla wild horse hair. Each pot is unique and one of a kind. On the bottom of each pot, you will find the name of the horse inscribed in the clay.
This is our most unique piece from Michael. It is just stunning in its authenticity! Measuring 12″ high and 9″ wide (all dimensions are approximate), this beautiful piece is highlighted by a spice, gray and natural coloring. What makes it even more special is that the hair fired on this piece is from our beloved Amadeo, our blind stallion who passed away in March.
Michael Middleton works closely with the Corolla Wild Horse Fund. A portion of the proceeds of each Horse Hair Pot sold is donated to the Corolla Wild Horse Fund.
